Business Meetings
Rochester Unit referees must attend two of the following business meetings at Penfield High School Commons Google Maps
IMPORTANT! MANDATORY TRAINING
Prior to being assigned matches for 2013, all Western New York referees must complete an online training program relating to the safety of goals. This requirement applies to assignments at all levels of play.
1. Log in at Game Officials. MANY REFEREES HAVE REPORTED THAT THE TRAINING MODULES ON GAME OFFICIALS DO NOT WORK WITH GOOGLE CHROME. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU USE INTERNET EXPLORER.2. Click on "Courses" in the left menu.
3. Click on "Referee Courses."
4. Click on "Goalpost Security Training - 2013."
5. A list of courses with the district name listed in the "Host" column will be displayed. Click on the green course number next to the course listed in your home district.
6. Click on "Register For This Course" - no fee will be charged.
7. Click on "Load Session Tracker."
8. Follow the instructions to complete the training module.
9. If you receive a score of 29%, you are finished. If your score is below 29%, you must retake the program by clicking on "Load Session Tracker" and repeating the process.
Risk Management
All officials must have a Referee Risk Management pass to be able to do ANY YOUTH games including tournaments. Click HERE to start the process of getting a Referee Risk Management pass.
